To mark the joyous Christmas celebration for the year 2021, Premier International School organized a winter concert on the 24th of December to celebrate the occasion. The choir band was led by a 10th grader Mr. Drishant Maharjan and mentored by the school Vice-Principal, Ms. Kanchan Mary Pradhan, and Ms. Priscilla Samuel, the senior high school librarian and Student Editorial Team (SET) advisor. The school band played the instruments while the students from PYP and MYP sang in the choir. In the spirit of Christmas, the choir members were dressed in red, white, and green attires, symbolizing the beauty and good fortune that came along with the festival. The team was well coordinated and the harmony in the songs presented left the audience which comprises students, teachers, the board of directors, and parents delighted to be present at the concert.
The choir sang with so much passion and this spread joy throughout the room. The songs presented were: Jingle bells, Open the eyes of my heart Lord, Glorious, Joy to the world, Chiso Chiso Hawama, and Havana. This concert was a great way to end the session for the year, welcome the winter break, and also set the mood for the holiday. The Christmas concert was a success and the participants and audience enjoyed the event.
