The annual Student-Led Conference in Premier International IB World School was held On the 14th of November 2021 for all the students from early years to grade 10, and the conference started from 9:00 am. As Premier believes in providing an opportunity to students to share their learning, Premerians were given this opportunity to have a Student-Led conference otherwise known as SLC, with the objective of allowing the parents to have an idea of what their children are learning, with the explorations they have made through the past months.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic scenario, SLC for this year was held virtually via Zoom for all grades respectively. Students were given time slots according to their roll number on when their SLC would take place. Each grade had their SLC in breakout rooms to give the students and parents a personalized time to share their individual experiences. The students seemed to be quite elated with the preparations for SLC right after the Dashain break by engaging in activities like a compilation of various artworks, documents, and certificates. All the students were able to share every inch of their erudition with their parents/guardians. Details of all subject matters and personal reflections on each subject were presented by the students virtually.
Despite the Covid-19 restrictions that made people work and school remotely, students did not miss out on their preparations and work evidence. The SLC for all came to an end with parents’ feedback-targeted google form and an exceptionally heartwarming response from parents. The SLC 2021 was a great success for the entire Premier family as all the students, teachers, and parents enjoyed every bit of the celebration. It was the most prideful moment for all the parents to see their children showcase their explorations to them with so much effort and engrossment.
