On the 7th August, 2022 a student integration program was held for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) and National Examination Board (NEB) +2 students at Gokarna Forest Resort. It took place from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. This was a welcome program for the students who got a chance to socialize and get to know each other before the start of their college year. The event was a knowledgeable and enjoyable program infused with lots of integration activities and all the IBDP and NEB staff present.
The event began with a heartwarming song performed by the grade 12 students. It was then followed by a speech given by Ms. Pawitra Limbu, the School Director, and Ms. Pravina Thapa, the Curriculum and Academic Director. They talked about the opportunities provided at Premier International IB Continuum School, including the leadership platforms, extra-curricular activities (ECA), and co-curricular activities (CCA). This was followed by a career counseling session conducted by Mr. Sabin Shrestha, a member of the Advisory Center for International Education (ACIE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) team. He counseled the students, encouraged them not to worry about the past but think about their future as everyone has a different starting point in life.
The session was informative and entertaining as there were many activities held for the relaxation and integration of the students. The session was helpful for the students as it provided a more relaxed platform for the students to know each other better and their teachers too. They also got useful advice from the career counselor to help them shape their academic journey.
